IWA Workshop on Odour Assessment and Control
5-6 June 2006, University of New South Wales
The odour workshop aims to provide delegates including design engineers, operators and managers from wastewater treatment, waste management and agricultural practises with a statement of the current practices and limitations in the assessment and treatment of odorous emissions.
The fundamentals of odour sampling, on-site and off-site measurement including olfactory and chemical analyses and odour modelling will be described. The principles of different odour abatement technologies and their practical application to the control and treatment of odorous emission will be discussed. The workshop will include demonstrations and practical experiences of dilution olfactometry and analytical measurements.
